Does anyone know what is under the Chrysler logo on the key? I don't like it and it just feels odd in my pocket. Is there a hole for a screw or anything like that, that would cause trouble if I took it off? I was planning on using the adhesive remover I used to de-badge my car to get it off. Unless it's held on with a screw. So anyone know what's under it or have a pic of it?

Mine fell off - there is nothing under there. I super-glued it back on...

 

mine has the mercedes logo underneath. i'll post a pic later if you want to see. i think it is slightly raised.

 

I have the Mercedes logo as well. I kind of like it better without the bubble logo. I kept mistaking the logo for the lock button when I felt around for the fob in my pocket.

mercedes logo? are you serious? that's pretty interesting that they would not even go through the hassle of making their own keys... can you post a pic please...

 

Interestingly enough the circuit board inside of the fob is made in the USA. Go figure...

 

 

wow never knew that ... i was playing around with my spare, imbedding a larger silver plate with the merc logo engraved ... very nice quality, done by a jeweler in Germany.

 

yours looks like engraved metal, while scooters looks like molded plastic... wonder what i got.

 

~ the metal logo was purchased aftermarket.

 

I'm going to put the emblems from Andrew on one of them and maybe take it off the other one. I'll post pics if I take it off.
