Radio malfunctioning
Hi, i'm new to this forum. I just bought a 2004 red Crossfire limited with 7,000 miles a few days ago. I am currently loving the car even though it has a few minor annoying qualities.
My biggest problem seems to be a pretty unique one from what i have read thus far. My radio controls do not seem to all be working. I can turn it on/off, adjust volume, switch between FM and my CD player, scan, and use a total of 4 presets. The rest of the buttons do not function. I cannot even use my seek dial, i have to scan to each station. Is this a common problem? Could the DIN be lose? Perhaps a reset of the radio would fix the problem? Its kind of been killing not being able to adjust some of the options.
If the problem is indeed the radio, i no longer have a factory warranty. Is it difficult to interface an aftermarket radio to the stock system? Is it as easy as plug and play?
Take it easy on me, i'm still a XF newbie.
Thanks in advance!
