Default Can the Radio be programmed

I was wondering if the Radio could be programmed to display something other than "Chrysler" when it is coming on. Maybe something like "Crossfire's are Great" or "My Ride" or "Her Car". I have searched the forum but have not been able to find any info.

I highly doubt it since you would need access to the ROM inside the program on the unit. I'm sure that some computer geek out there could figure out like when you could write your own boot up message on Windows. Given enough time and geeky-ness, anything is possible!

I don't think so.
It has been discussed on here numerous times.

Yes. Here are the instructions to get "Chrysler" off the display of the factory radio.

Step 1.) Remove factory radio.

You are now done. Congratulations.
