Well the stock speakers in a Crossfire are already Infinity. Did you buy Infinity Kappa speakers ? The door speakers are 6 1/2 inch with a 1 inch tweeter mounted higher in the door. There is a 6 1/2 in sub behind each seat. (not sure if the base model has subs) The factory amp is in the pass side floor pan. Some folks find that installing a cap on the door speakers helps. (https://www.crossfireforum.org/forum...gest+bang+buck )
I think it would help you as well, It keeps the low bass notes out of the small door speakers. Return the speakers you bought. You want to listen to your music LOUD with a LOT of BASS, Right ? (I know because I like it that way too). What you need is a sub woofer and a box to put it in. An amp to drive the sub. At least an 8 ga wiring kit for the amp, Don't forget the fuse. Latter get a new head unit for more control, Adding an Ipod etc. Do some searching on this forum about stereos and check out http://www.crutchfield.com/ Enter this code Your Crutchfield Referral Code: pr26q-6cux3-tk78c and save $20. I saw this box on Ebay http://cgi.ebay.com/Chrysler-Crossfi...QQcmdZViewItem
it looks good but I don't really know. You may find out more by searching the forum. Btw, Crutchfield will say to need to run all new wires to change the head unit but you don't have to do that. The Crossfire only has speaker level output on the stock head unit so there are only speaker level wires there. If you need rca cables you will have to run them yourself. It's all easy to do, Just read up on things before you start and then take your time. This will show you how to get at the wires, speakers, etc. https://www.crossfireforum.org/forum...ad.php?t=13875 get the service manual.

well i already installed the new speakers they sound good but i get too much base out of the door and a rattle from the rear speakers. i was told the dyno matt will get rid of the rattle. now if upgrade the stock amp will it mess anything up? what i'm asking is that does the stock amp connect to anything else besides the sounds? on top of that its not loud enough. i'm looking to put a 10 inch sub and a friend of mine said to get a small amp for the 4 new speakers and a separate one for the sub. is he right? i want to go all infinity so the amps and the sub will be infinity i wanted alpine but too much money i figured infinity is good quality brand. i'm learning a lot but not enough like how many caps do i need? do i need a bigger battery? and would it be a good idea to just get rid of the stock wires and start fresh? now if i do get 2 amps should i get 2 channel or should i get 4 channel ?

Dyna matt is good stuff and will help stop rattles. The "bang for the buck" mod will keep the low bass notes from getting to those speakers. now if upgrade the stock amp will it mess anything up? what i'm asking is that does the stock amp connect to anything else besides the sounds? on top of that its not loud enough. i'm looking to put a 10 inch sub and a friend of mine said to get a small amp for the 4 new speakers and a separate one for the sub. is he right? The stock amp is a good one, If you install a new head unit it will be louder than the stock system is now. Just hook up the front output wires to the stock wires. Then you can use an rca cable to run the rear, Or better yet a sub or non fade output to an amp you install in the cargo area. i want to go all infinity so the amps and the sub will be infinity i wanted alpine but too much money i figured infinity is good quality brand. Infinity is a great brand. I like the sound of there speakers. The stock amp is Infinity also. I have an Alpine amp in my Crossfire. It's a 4 channel amp with ch 1 & 2 running the door speakers and ch 3 & 4 bridged to run a 10 inch Infinity Kappa sub. i'm learning a lot but not enough like how many caps do i need? 1 for each door. You don't really need a big cap for your sub amp unless your running BIG watts. do i need a bigger battery? Nope, The stock battery is fine. You will need a good power and ground wire for any amp you install. At least 8ga and the more strands the better. Check out http://www.partsexpress.com/car-audio.cfm You don't need a "super dooper" ground kit either, It would not hurt but then again it will not really help. On some cars you might have to upgrade the ground system. The Crossfire is already well grounded. and would it be a good idea to just get rid of the stock wires and start fresh? Bigger wires always help but you could get away with the stock wires. now if i do get 2 amps should i get 2 channel or should i get 4 channel ?
I would only get one 4 ch amp. You can use. Ch 1 for front left. Ch 2 for front right. Ch 3 & 4 bridged to run a sub. A lot of it is personal choice. A new head unit to run the door speakers with the stock amp will sound great. It will be louder. You can add an amp and sub later when you have the bucks. Do a bunch of reading, There are some good stereo forums around. http://www.the12volt.com/installbay/ remember your friends only know what the salesman told them and he only wants to sell something and he might not know what he's talking about.

Sure, No prob. Do some reading and give yourself time to think it over. That way you only buy stuff one time.
