Added new head unit and XM tuner
For the head unit I just followed the existing data here, it’s exactly what needs to be done

Additional info here, nice color coding info

If interested:
1- Pull back the carpet and remove the Styrofoam piece. Unscrew 3 plastic bolts, 10MM.
2- Lay the panel flat on the floor.
3- Mark bracket locations and holes to be drilled out for bolts.
4- Optional but easier- Unscrew 2 screws from AMP, pull forward to release amp and bracket, move out of the way.
5- Drill out bolt holes for bracket(careful if you haven’t placed something underneath). Bolt in brackets.
6- Place in XM unit and secure.
7-Run all wiring now, and secure in place- The antenna is the challenging one, I ran it from the back to front, mounted and run (wire harness) with the existing FM antenna. In the Roadster if you open the hatch and the roof with a 7/8 socket you can unbolt the antenna and run the XM wire up (actually down) the same way the existing wires run. I cut out a very small slot in the rubber pad to let the wire come through. Getting through the back wall just follow the same path as the cable bundle.
8- I pulled the center console apart to allow for a cleaner run and more access, you might get away with just pulling of the shifter and cover, and threading the wiring, but I would imaging that’s tough.
9- Pull the wires power, antenna and bus cable (if Pioneer) along the inside of the center console, and come out the back where the cable harness comes for the amp, you’ll see it pretty easily. It helps to pull off the vent guide and take out the Phillips head screw, allow more flex when working.
10- You will need to cut away the tie wraps that are in place to run your cables, just make sure you use the holders on the plate as the factory did when your replace with new tie straps.
Just realized I didn’t take a picture with the AMP and the XM unit mounted together, well the fit perfect on the plate. Good luck
