Stock Infinity Nav Radio Skipping

HELP!!!!,

I’m a new owner of a 06' limited convertible with 5k miles so i'm aliitle shocked to what is going on with my radio. When I was given the keys the radio didn't turn on which should of thrown up some flags but within a day the dealer repaired the ground connector wasn;t pushed into the radio connector (not sure what that mean or if i said it correctly) but luckly it was covered under the warranty. Sadly, today the radio started skipping! While I'm listening to the radio it starts to skip like an old cd but while it's skipping there is a clicking sound to be coming from the glove box area behind or below not sure. Anyways, after afew mins or turning off n on the radio afew times it goes back to noraml and plays for 20or so mins and starts it again.

Does anyone know what would be causing the radio to skip on all station???
