Default Navi CD

So I tried multiple programs (4 to be exact) to burn the previously posted navigation set...nothing worked. My head unit just kept reading insert navi cd. I dont want to take the risk and buy nero or roxio and it not work. Does anyone have a copied set or originals, or even another idea they want to part with? I stayed up all night burning CDs. Thanks in advance.

Try ImgBurn... it's free and VERY good. If you still can't burn the set properly with this, then it's probably the media you are using. Are you burning CD-R, CD+R or what?

Very Very easy to do... I did it last night.. But then again, these directions are for MAC users. Dont know if they make ROXIO TOAST for shitty PC's..

1. Download the NAvigation files. I know there is a thread around somewhere b/c i used it yesterday.

2. Get yourself Roxio TOAST. I use toast 7, doesnt matter what version you use.

3. Open Toast. Make sure your creating a Data CD, not a Audio CD. Then select the "IS0 9660" option on the upper left hand side.

4. Click and Drag the .iso file to where is says, "Drop .iso file here"...duh

5. Burn that *****!!

I did it last night and had no problems what so ever. Hope this helps.

You can buy a set on e-bay fairly inexpensive, and legal.

Use CDR's, not CDRW..

And why waste money on Navi CD's when they are right here...

Ha ha got it. Image burn worked...Are we really talking legalities here? I went to the dealer after finding out the disks were not with the car when purchased, those discs are needed for proper operation of the "navigation equipped" option i wanted. They told me I had to buy them...THAT SHOULD BE ILLEGAL!

I might feel bad if they were brand new 2008 editions,,,but since we are running off of '04 maps (or older) with no sign of updated maps - I would say these have been abandoned .....copy away.
