is the car alarm speaker the same one as the chirp from when it arms, because my car doesn't chirp but it alarms like hell. just wondering I'd hate to spend the money to get a replacment if they were in fact the same speaker.

 

I can't personally testify, but I've read from other forum members that once they have their speaker changed by the dealer, the alarm suddenly chirps when armed. The factory speaker how ever doesn't chirp, only once its replaced.
