So I decided to take the subwoofer out of our home theater to see what the Crossfire sounded like with a woofer in the trunk. It's a Velodyne 12" self-powered 400 watt sub. I did so by running a power cord out, plugging my iPod directly into the sub while transmitting it through the OEM stereo with an iTrip.

This is a neat, simple demonstration if you're just curious what it will sound like and if your thinking about installing a woofer. Just a thought I figured I'd share. If you have a quality home woofer, try it out! A little unorthodox? Yeah, but you get the picture.
