This PCMCIA card looks interesting. It maybe something used in a laptop with a cable that connects to the car for displaying the ECU information. There are kits like that on the market from Europe.

Uh, whatever....

The 2004 Chrysler Crossfire (ZH29) requires use of the CH9044 “Orange card”, and the 2003 Dodge NAFTA Sprinter (VA) requires use of the CH9087 “Green Card” for vehicle diagnostics. These vehicles also require the 9043 Multiplexer cable, in addition to the CH7000/1 cable and DRB III®. The Multiplexer automatically selects the correct pin according to the control unit selected by the user. For the 2004Crossfire software the Technician Guide is part number 517075, and for the 2003 Sprinter the Technician Guide part number is 517767. They contain supplemental user instructions for the software. One copy is included with each card purchased. Additional copies of the Technician Guide are available by contacting SPX Miller Special Tools customer service at 800-801-5420.
Required Equipment:
· CH6000A DRB III®
· CH9044 PCMCIA card

· CH9087 PCMCIA card
· Either the CH7000 (8ft) or CH7001 (12ft) J1962 OBD II cable may be used.
· The 9043 Multiplexer cable assembly is shown below. The red LED lights to indicate power. The LED blinks rapidly to indicate that communications are in process.
The 9325 kit contains: 1pc CH9044 Crossfire PCMCIA Card

1pc CH9087 Sprinter PCMCIA Card

1pc 9043 Multiplexer Cable

Both Technician Guides

The Crossfire uses a DRB III scanning tool for diagnostics (think of it as a very car-specific OBDII). This includes lots of diagnostics that the OBDII cant do... airbag, TPMS sensors, etc.

Thanks for the link bhays, i snatched this right up!!!!

Let us know where you get with this card.

I've seen several of these on ebay as Chrysler dealers seem to be closing down and usually they come with the multiplexor cable (this one doesn't appear to come with a cable).

I'm also assuming that you need software ?

and ill finally be able to reset my airbag light (tried to install a MOMO) and my TPMS sensor (got SRT6 wheels)

this is a cool toy!!

reset my airbag system, reset all my TPMS sensors, and played with a *bunch* of other things...

- engine (diagnostics, temps, pressures, individual cylinder info, tests)
- transmission (nothing for the 6-speed)
- body (HVAC, instrument cluster, mored diagnostics, more tests, etc.)
- chasis (TPMS)
- anti-lock brakes
- passive restraints

hell, itll even tell you individual wheel speeds in a corner! very cool...

The DRB III is a diagnostics tool, like an OBDII scanner, but very specific to a Crossfire (when used with the orange card thats shown). It plugs into the OBD connector near the hood release and taps into the car's different systems.

You can get your very own DRB III here,

http://www.toolsource.com/scan-tool-...e-p-98745.html
for $8500.00

or here,
http://shop.ebay.com/items/drb%203?_...p=1900578023_1
for $4000.00 + $379 for the Crossfire multiplexer.

A little steep for most of us..
