I used to post a lot over at mp3car.com. I was totally into it for about 2 years. I had a decent car PC installed in my daily driver. Unfortunately, the $600 screen I had died, and I just got sick of tearing the whole car apart to change and fix things. I disconnected the screen, and went back to just my head unit (which was never removed).

 

sadly, its not mine, nor do i have an crossfire (YET). a friend of mine found it and sent it to me cause he knows i'm crazy about the crossfire!

I looked at it and was impressed. Then I said to myself "where's the rocker switches?" Then I found the rocker switches. Now I say to myself "Where's the center air vents?" It's super clean but where I live I don't know if I could live without the center air vents.

 

Sexy, what all can something like that do? Can i surf the net while driving? Is that even safe? lol

 

It all depends on what you want it to do and how much money and patience you have. Generally speaking it is an MP3 music library, GPS navigation, and movie display. Some guys add a cellular based internet connection or a wifi card. In mine I also had OBD2 software for logging and engine management. Another popular thing is to run gaming system emulators on it and play old console games. Some people also hook up new consoles to it, like an xbox 260 or PS3.

 

those were the first 2 things that went through my mind after i saw how clean it was. living in georgia with insane humidity, i couldnt do without my center vents either.
