The unit looks great, but for almost the same money you can have a fold out large size touchscreen (and for a little more money, you can have legitimate navigation). Is there something I am missing or did you simply not want a fold out??

The thing is pretty impressive, and quite stunning, just not sure if it is justified by the pricepoint. What do you guys think?

I just didn't want a fold out... and I painted the bezel silver to match the car. JVC claims to be coming out with a nav unit for it, which should be a good one as they and Kenwood are owned by the same parent company now and Kenwood has always had awesome Garmin Navigation units.

I had the same problem with my IDA-x001 and it was due to the amp turn on not being hooked up correctly

For some reason i couldnt upload to this thread so i started a gallery. I love that my iphone's music can play through the car now. I'm not finished with messing with my settings. I'm looking for a nice wallpaper that would match the car's inside but it is nice to look at my car in the car for the time being. LMAO

HI, Kingkc7, I was just on the fence on this head unit and just ordered one. What i would like to know is where did you hook up the parking brake wire or did you just ground the green wire ? I do not really care if the video works while driving i just need to know where you hooked the green wire. thanks

Hi again From my understanding the green wire is for dvd play back .With out it connected it willnot play video. Can you watch movies? The wire is suppost to be connected to the parking brake to enable dvd play back while parked.I have seen threads on other forums (car audio) that said it must be conneced. I am kind of puzzled. If every thing works without it connected then great! thanks

Connect the parking brake sensor to the ground and you'll be able to play DVD's at all times (even when car is in motion)
