XM Skydock for iPod Touch & iPhone Users
Hello all.
I just came across a new XM Radio alternative hook-up for iPod Touch & iPhone owners to use with our Crossfire stock radios.
It is the new XM SkyDock XVSAP1V1 with Built-In XM Tuner. It uses their PowerConnect FM Transmitter or a minijack audio output (3.5mm). The XM SkyDock will also charge the battery of your iPod touch or iPhone while docked and your car is on. If you leave your iPhone in the XM SkyDock when you answer the call, the phone audio will come from the speakers built into the iPhone. Sort of handsfree....
I'd be giving it a try if I owned an iPhone and still had my stock radio.
Let us know how well it works if you own one.
