Default what radio is this??

so i'm looking around the web for silver faced radios, (yes I saw the very helpful thread here) and came across this pic, and thought how good this radio matched the silver trim. But I don't know what brand or model this is so i could take a look. if anybody has any info on this please post!! thxs!!!

That picture is one of the interior models. The radio would have come in the SLK and is actually a tape deck. Would have been nice if they had something like that for our cars though.

i have that radio in black. hopelessly outdated!. all the numbers are actually a keypad for the fone that no is operational in the car. tape deck behind the screen

Well if they made it in silver, I'd have probably already figured out how to make the tape deck part hold an iPhone. LOL How slick would that be!

Wow, that console must have one ginormous folding cupholder from the looks of the outline. I'll bet it could hold those Heineken 5-liter Mini Kegs.

its a tape deck eh. ok then I guess i'm not interested. thanks for the quick replys. that radio matches the console very well!!!

i changed mine out for an audio 10 unit which is m/b european unit. no casstte uses a single cd player and fiber optics for my 6 disc unit in the trunk. plug and play!

We have that same radio in our 04 MB except its all black. No I-pod jacks and yes I went crazy for a few months trying to find the phone which was a 1500$ option??? It was an outdated phone anyway and we didn't have that (bought the car used). Nice looking unit but totally not what you need to run an I-Pod. A suggestion - don't get hung up on the trim ring on a replacement like I did...........you can always paint it to match the silver on your dash. I didn't realize that and went another route.
