I have contacted Navteq numerous times and was told that "they have no intentions of providing updated CD's for our cars either now or in the future".

I was told the same thing by Becker of North America 2 years ago and that the Becker CD's won't work because Chrysler had them encoded or something for their units.

The refusal to issue updated CDs is irritating. Nav is not an inexpensive option on these cars. Navteq, Becker, and Chrysler should be supporting their customers instead of giving us the finger. If they won't issue new CDs, then they should publish the data format and tools so we could update our own.

There was a post a few months ago that showed the nav/radio was being offered by Ford (in black instead of silver) Did anyone check to see if those CDs worked?

I sent an email to Chrysler about updated nav CDs and was told there would not be any.

Chrysler has set up a complaint hot line for customers to call with issues. They told me the more people who call about a specific complaint like updated navigation CD's, the more likely they'll fix the issue! So I suggest everyone call with their vin # and file a complaint!!!!
