Default Power your car when its off?

Is there anyway to power your car so it wont die if you wanted to listen to music for a long time? I want to use my car as the sound system for a party but dont want it to die. I also dont want to leave it running the entire time.

Yeah, I do that sometimes. I bought a battery charger/maintaner at walmart and plug it to the wall outlet and the car battery. I also have a 1 fared capacitor so it all works well for 3 hours.

Without the ignition switch on the radio will turn off in one hour. I guess you knew that but I thought I would mention it just in case.
A charger would do the trick on a low setting. One of those battery tenders might be just perfect.

id be getting a bigger charger unit..

the aim is to not let the battery drop below 40% i think it was.. because you can permanently damage the battery.

get a bigger charger unit (dont use trickle charge)
get something around the 10AMP-20AMP range..

dont let the battery go flat.
