Larger subwoofer in stock location
I dont want to take up trunk space.. and the stock 6" subs cant handle deep bass i was wondering if i could install 8" or 10" subs in place of the stock ones..? or at least behind the seats in that Rear wall area.? if so does any one have photos of the back wall broken down so i can see what i will be dealing with?

I don't believe you want to be cutting to much into that back wall. there is a gas tank back there. if I were to recommend anything it would be to cut into the styrofoam on the back passenger corner and put a small sub there.
Very clean work you done - tanks for the share.
I'm adding two subwoofers, 2 mids and 2 tweeters to the trunk area of my coupe.... goin' Quadra-sonic....

BB427 - Absolutely Excellent! Thank you so very much for documenting all this info. There is so much valuable info in this thread, it ought to be a "sticky" at the top. Thank you.
Bigblock427 - you do excellent work! Wow! I wish I knew of someone near New Jersey who could this work of this quality...
Maybe I should come over to Germany to visit my sister and just bring my car with me... Boy, wouldn't that make for the most expensive stereo install in a crossfire ever...

Where did the pic of the soundstage diagram go? I knew I should have saved that image when I first saw it a few weeks back. Do any of you have it, and could repost it or email it to me. That would be awesome

From the looks of this it appears everyone in Germany has an engineering degree. haha
I wish I could speak German. I bet there is a lot of great information on that site! When I was in Germany last year. I met up with some of our German friends and before dinner and great beer, we spent the day at the Mercedes Museum in Stuttgart. I saw some very interesting things on the Crossfires such as beautiful stitched leather interiors, and one Crossfire that is powered by propane.
