Default Securing head unit via rear screw/strap?

I just recently bought a new head unit (a JB.Lab JMP3-GT1) and the tabs on the sleeve don't work real well to secure it - the top tabs aren't located properly, and the tabs on the side don't lock it in firmly. I saw on other threads here that you could secure a head unit via a flexible metal strap connected to the back of the head unit. This unit comes with such a strap, but I don't know where to screw the other end to. I saw people mentioning something about opening up the center console to access something to screw the other end of the metal strap to, but I didn't see anything on how you would open up the center console/dash to expose that terminal. How can I open my dash so I can secure my head unit? Thanks!

Edit: Alternately, if someone knows where I can just buy a sleeve that's known to work well with the Crossfire, that would be appreciated, too.
