Looking for a good affordable head unit
Hey all,
I'm the proud new owner of an '05 XF Limited and love it. The one thing I really want to do though is play music from my iTouch in the car which I can't do with the factory Infinity head unit.
Can anyone direct me to a decent head unit that doesn't look horrid in the dash, is compatible with the iTouch, and is for around or less than $150?
All I've really looked at is whats on Crutchfeld, which has a decent selection, but I want to hear what you guys have and what you think would work best.
Thanks for your help!

I really enjoy my Kenwood X993 single DIN. I bought mine new in 2008 for around $300 I'm sure the price has really came down.
It is one of the few HU's that all you you to control the music selection through the Apple product itself while in USB Mode. You are still allowed to cycle through the folders and playlist with the toggle ***** on the headunit but it is more user friendly being able to change songs with the player itself.
Other Features
:The Headunit also incorpates a 5 band EQ (very neat sloped graphic)
This unit can really improve the Sound Quality of the Stock System
:Built In hands-free Blutooth with external mic
:Crossover slope adjustment at several Db increments
:Infinite Range of LED Color's (I am able to perfectly match the head unit color to my green gauges for nice OEM look
If you decide to go with this unit, let me know if you have any other question
Here are pictures of mine installed on this past thread.

TD,
I just installed a Kenwood KDC-HD545u removable head unit.
Even with the installation and parts needed, it came in at $285 or so. The unit itself has HD radio. It was all done by Fry's Electronics and installation took 15 minutes...
Good luck.
