Default Were to place 6x9 & LAT sub in back

I look for advice on were to place a pair of 6x9 in the back . I going to build box to put them in but don’t know if I should put them on the back wall behind the gas tank or in the cubbyholes next to the tail lights . Which setup do you think would give better sound.
I have an Alpine PLT-5 Which I going to place in the back also.

amplified subwoofer system with Linear Array Transducer (LAT) technology
six 5-inch woofer cones in Ultra Reflex subwoofer box
Alpine PDX 250-watt RMS digital amplifier
21-5/8"W x 13-3/8"H x 8-7/8"D1 x 6-3/16"D2

The only thing is it does not have any mounting points and I afraid it will side around even though it pretty heavy like 40lb. What I was thinking was building an enclosure to house the pair of 6x9 and the amp to power them with the PLT-5 in the center. Two sealed boxes for the 6x9 with an open box that the sub would slide into. And then mount it to the back wall. Or just building some kind of support to hold the sub to the back wall and build to enclosures for the 6x9 to put them in the cubby hole by the taillights. What do you think \ would sound better: the 6x9 facing to the back glass and reflecting back or in the cubby hole crossfiring to the front.

thanks
sive

DO not try to set them on the wall between, in the event of an accident, they will literally decapitate you, especially at 40lbs each
