Need Help
Today was 100 degrees and the fan inside my car decided to stop working. I spoke to my friend who said he had the same problem (in a charger) and that him not getting it fixed right away caused other problems throughout his AC unit. He advised me to not drive my car until it was fixed and i spoke to someone at chrysler who just told me to make an appointment and let them look at it. I'm hoping its something as simple as a fuse bc this seems like a pricy fix. Any suggestions?? Please, anything is appriciated espeially in this tempature
I am not at home, but look for a fuse blown in the fuse box. I not where I can see if the fan is on a breaker or just fused. My guess it is fused. Maybe it was hot enough to cause a
failure...
fuse 36 in the under hood accessory block ......

Whichever part of the two has gone just replace that part and not waste money on the part that is good. The dealership will change both for sure just because they like your money.

My guess is the regulator part that regulates the fan speed and screws on the outside of the fan or the fan itself. The regulator part can get costly, used ones go for $50 and up.

Down load the repair manual and start reading, now is as good a time as ever.
