Passenger side speakers not working
I have a 2004 base crossfire coupe. I purchased this used and the passenger speakers have never worked. every once in a while when I turn the ignition switch I hear a pop from the speaker. any ideas as to what might be wrong?
Maybe a bad speaker? If you have a good speaker pop off the little panel that is exposed when the door is open and hidden when the door is closed and put the speaker wires on the "other" good speaker and see if it works. That will show you if its just the speaker and you wont have to remove the door panel.
And there is no Infinity amplifier in the base models, just wires from the head unit straight out to the door speaker. ( the tweeter in the door is wired parallel within the door to the main speaker )
They said "base" but also 2004, 2004 were effectively "limited" and all have the amp. I know you already knew that just must have missed the 04 part, and I wanted to let the O.P. know. Also does the rear subwoofer work on each side? They are behind the seats, and with most music you feel more than hear them.

I was thinking of just having a whole new system installed, but I do like the look of the original head unit. I only drive the crossfire in nice weather but when I do I like to listen to my tunes.. I do not need to be blasted out of the seat just enjoy my classic rock.
