Default Coupe antenna revisited help

Ok. I did some research and reading. I haven't been on the forum much lately but still drive my srt daily.
I have a aftermarket head unit and retained the factory amp and speakers.
All sounds good except for fm reception is awful.
Instead of messing with the factory one is it a better idea to just try an aftermarket amplified hidden antenna and just bypass the factory one all together?
Any input would be appreciated. Thanks!

The antenna is in the hatch window glass and the antenna amplifier is under the top hatch window liner.

Your photos is the capacitor for better speaker sound.

I’m sorry I had more than one page open on my phone and replied to the wrong thread.
Modorators feel free to delete.
Sorry.
