Default Crutchfield suggested Metra 70-1786: No sound

Hey all. I went into Crutchfield and picked out a Boss 460BRGB + Metra 70-1786 + Scosche SLC4 Line Output Converter since they suggested it with this low amp headunit.

everything went together nicely. Crimped the black red and yellow wires. Plugged in the speakers directly into the headunit. Powered it on without no the amp to test. No audio.

I still had had an orange and blue cable left over but from my understanding that orange is the dimmer and the blue is for power antenna.

I then removed the direct RCA from the head unit and ran new wiring from the metra into the sco amp. Powered it up. Still no audio.

the head unit connects to the radio and blue tooth excellent! I see the equalizer moving around but just can't get sound out. I'm assuming it's due to the factory amp.

Any recommendations??

Do you have the Crossfire schematics?

If the speakers plugged into the head unit you had to have been under the passenger side footwell to get to them. Are you on the correct wires?

Crutchfield showed that I could connect the metra direct to the head unit. Followed their guide.

Think most people use the Scosche VW01B adapter, I did.

Crutchfield seems to be looking at the back side of the plug.

A3 must not be connected to anything (mute lead).

If using the factory connector, only the front speakers are wired - fader must be full front.

I flipped the connector here to match the Crutchfield.

Remember something I had to do with the blue/white amp on wire but not sure what.

This makes me think you ARE using the Crossfire amp. But re-looking at the OP shows 3 part numbers.
