Default Wiring Subs

After reading about Pyle subs on here I bought a pair off Amazon, however I bought a pair of Pyle 6in 4ohm, single voice coils and I probably should of got the dual voice coil to wire in parallel to get 2ohms. Is there a way to successfully wire the single voice coil speakers I got with the stock amp and wiring or do I need to order the dual voice coil?

Thanks for your time.

Got the subs today and they were actually 2 voice coils. Amazon has it marked wrong. Guess I will be wiring in parallel.

I thought the subs OEM are dual coils in each? If they are and you have only one set of wires, then someone modified it before you get the car.

Hi GraphiteGhost

The Pyles are 4ohm dual voice. Factory is 2ohm dual voice. So I will either be stressing the amp some since its a 2ohm or I can parallel wire the speaker to bring it to 2ohm to meet the amp specs. I would like to leave the speakers at 4ohm, but I am afraid my son will stress the amp with his loud playing and turning up bass.

Easy. Blow about 1200 bucks and get your son an old ricer of some sort he can make a rattlecan out of and keep him out of the Crossfire.

Here's one : 2013 Civic for $1500 https://www.carsforsale.com/vehicle/details/30587837
( Gotta be a story there ! - I watched the video, she also states $1500 in it. Blown engine / tranny maybe ?)

I was 23 when I bought my first xfire and 26 when I bought my xfire roadster...all the youngsters don't mistreat their cars.
