Default location of radio amplifier

Where is the radio amplifier located in my 2007 limited roadster ? Does anyone know if I can connect 2 8 ohm in parallel from the front door speakers. ? This would change the ohms to 4. Is the amp designed to accommodate this ? I'm planning on using 2 small flat panel spearkers behind the upper seats

thank you for any help
Dennis

The RF amplifier is integrated into the antenna base. The audio amplifier is behind the angled front of the footwell on the passenger side. Can't comment on the speaker situation.
