Figured I would update this since I received the kit

It took awhile for them to ship it but the shop owner was very sick from what I have heard. So thats understandable. Once the kit actually shipped I had it in 2 days and that is pretty fast considering it shipped from china.

Very pleased with the kit. The only thing I lost by switching to it was the ashtray and the airbag light. I could mount the airbag light by drilling my own hole but I dont really want it so I doubt I will.

 

Not having the air bag light would be dangerous to a passenger in the event of a crash if the switch was OFF and dangerous to a child in a child seat if the switch was ON in the event of a crash. You would be liable in either case. If a job is worth doing it is worth doing right.

 

I did mine a year ago and installed the light in the shifter panel.

 

I may add it one day but I doubt it. I wont ever turn off the airbag and I wont have a kids car seat in the crossfire. If Im going to transport grandkids its going to be in one of the X5's and they are going to be in the backseat too.
Since you have to turn a key with the door open to disable the air bag I dont see that happening by accident either.

 

Does anyone know where or if I can get the Chrysler Crossfire Double Din kit.

I believe its Turkey.

Parts came from china when they shipped though.

 

Looks a very nice arrangement, the photos of the in-car Double DIN setup, on their product page.
Although there is still that obvious mis-alignment, between the panel with the manual switches, and the lower, gear surround panel ?

 

I have their kit and there isn't any misalignment, the misalignment in the pics comes from people not putting the shifter plate in correctly, basically not seating it correctly. I initially thought, oh this seems off, until I reseated the sifter surround plate and I was like, Oh, there it is.

I'll have some pics of a very unique and factory looking install no one has done yet. Brings the Crossfire interior into the modern age.

Where Can I buy this kit? It seems to be out of stock. Or maybe can I buy it from someone here?

 

I am looking for this double DIN trim kit everywhere but it appears that the url previously listed in this thread is no longer available. I also tried calling AOZ directly in turkey from the number on their Facebook page but nobody answers.

Does anyone know where I can get this kit or would anyone be willing to sell one to me? Willing to pay north of original purchase price for the trouble.

 

Aliozgur and forum members, do you have the 3D source files for the parts? Looking to see if I could start a low volume production of the double din trim kit. Willing to purchase the files or come to some arrangement as you see fit. Please advise, I know quite a few people are looking for this part again.
