What’s a decent replacement radio?
Head unit display is failing and the volume control has alwas sucked! What’s a decent replacement? 2005 base roadster. Would kinda like to keep the silver face to match. Definitely want Bluetooth. Didn’t really see anything in the av section? Any knowledge would be appreciated! Thx

I replaced my original with a Kenwood KMR-D382BT Marine CD-Reciever. I ordered it from Crutchfield.com. When I ordered it I asked about an adapter so that I wouldn't have to do any splicing. They made me one for an extra $25.00. Well worth it!
It has blue tooth, is Sirius/XM capable, CD player, and more. The silver matches the interior and I was able to get the radio light very close to matching the dash lights.
Here's a post I did on replacing my radio. Check it out and see if you like it.

Thanks for the recommendation. I will be getting one for Christmas!
I used to do cell phone and alarm installation in a past life. Hope they include the antenna adapter. Should be a breeze. Not sure the battery even needs unhooked.

I think you will be happy with it. I believe they did include the antenna adapter.
As far as the battery, whenever I do any kind of electrical work on this car I disconnect the negative lead. Just habit I guess.
Installed the new Kenwood head yesterday. By far the easiest swap I have ever done. Even the mounting ring just clicked into the dash. Took about 30min just due to cleaning and also installed a new battery ground cable.
Glad to hear it!
