Exclamation Scissor/Lambo Doors

Hey,
I am from Melbourne VIC.
I am looking for someone who can do scissor or lambo doors for my crossfire which is a coupe.
I have a contact which will take 1 week to do it and is in NSW near Sydney. He is asking for $4000.
Please let me know if any one knows anything.

About $2000-$3000 too much. Do a search of Lambo and you will find alot of information.

in short....no, they will not fit...you need to go 20 x 10 on the rear, and 19 x 8 at the front. this is your largest configuration.

ozzi tyres is the go...

in reply to your question about lambo doors...they are VERY expensive...but there are people in melbourne that will do them if you take the kit to them...mainly custom body shops.

I have had lambo doors on other vehicles....DON'T DO IT. They are a serious pain in the ***, and never work as well as the original.

Save your money for some wheels, performance mods, whatever....lambo doors belong on a lambo.

Hey well if you guys want some labo doors I have them on my crossfire. I will let anyone have them as long as they trade me for the original hinges.. for those guys thinking about getting rims on there crossfires I have 20" rims all around, so you can put larger than 19's in the front...

What size tyres have you used with the 20" rims, did you need any spacers, and is the rim offset standard?
Im thinking of 20" all round, or maybe even 20" and 19" front.
Cheers
Steve

I have the Lambo style doors from Vertical Doors in Corona, CA. They own the patents on the design.

Besides looking cool (IMO), they really make ingress and egress easier when parked close to another car. The area around the speaker grille that gets kicked is up and out of the way. I can now sit and slide my legs through the open area (good thing 'cause my knees don't bend like they used to.)

The kit will run about $1K USD and can be shipped. It is a direct bolt on and you can keep the original hinges and hardware. Change your mind in the future and you can restore it.

You can check their site but suggest you let me order them for you. I get very special pricing. A few thought they could get a better deal going direct and paid more..

Well the tyres in the front is 225/30/20 and the tyres in the back are 225/35/20. The tire in the back are a little larger. I think 20"s on the xfire is a little too much i would go 19"s
