I am embarrassed to say that I don't actually own a Crossfire. I am in the Market for an SRT6 Roadster though - just gotta sort out my finances a tad. My partner has a Sebring Convertible and so does my brother..

I own Aussie made Valiants; E34 Pacer, VJ 770 Charger, VH Hardtop and some others.. I want a Mopar for a daily driver, hence my interest in a Crossfire..

Cheers

Don't be embarrassed - your aspiration is a good one - SRT-6 Convertibles are a nice drive

What's more "embarrassing" is people like me who used to own Crossfires lurking in the forums dreaming about buying another one someday

Adam I was doing a bit of searching and came across this one for you!!

http://www.carsales.com.au/private/d...rice:Min,Max~1

Price is a bit steep but at least it's local. When I bought mine a year ago I couldnt find a black one

P.S. It's Mopar or no car!

What do you reckon would be a fairer price for that car? - hard to price the SRT-6's as they dont come up that often - if its a tidy, low kms unit then $40k would be realistic (if you can find the right buyer)

we have a yellow roadster and would love to meet for a cruise through the hills for a coffee. Tried to arrange something a couple of years ago but no one was interested.

That's 3-4 times the going rate in the States .......

I hate to ask, but what does the average 3 bedroom, 2 bath house sell for there ?

Hahahah I know it's criminal! These cars were 92k brand new in Australia.

The average house price is about 350-450 of course depending on proximity to the city.

There is a guy in Australia asking 65k for his silver roadster with 1500 miles on it. I told him he is dreaming (even though it is a 2006 model)

Cheers,

Michael

I still think you could get him down below 40k. There seems to always be a couple floating about. Black is a little harder to find than aero blue. Machine Grey would have been my personal choice....but good luck finding one of those!!

I am not too far away from being a Crossfire owner (just gotta sort out some of the finer details), maybe we could look at joining in on a Zipple or Chrysler Cruise one Saturday night even? I sometimes go in my Partners Sebring Convertible, people are quite okay..

If I ever sell my Crossfire, I may have to ship it to Australia first!

Sorry, they prefer right hand drive cars.

If you think Crossfires are overpriced here, wait to you see the price of houses, boats, motorbikes or even Pinball Machines.. I have spent a fair bit of time in the US over the Years and everything is a LOT cheaper!

They can be a bit like that, especially amongst some of the ethnic Valiant groups.. Times will start changing once the price of 300c's and Crossfire become a bit more affordable to the "average punter"...

Hi Adam-777..Just thought I'd add my 2 cents worth to this rarely used Forum..Its common knowledge that we pay more for everything Down under..just look at US car parts !!! 1/4 price over there ..Ive started buying bits for the VW.s I own and its only time before I buy bits for my 04 Xfire..Merry Christmas
