3 Day Classic Car Tour
My wife and I have just returned from the annual Sporting Car Club of South Australia 3 day Classic Car Tour. We left Adelaide and toured the Fleurieu Peninsula. We all stayed at the Wirrina Cove Resort for two nights and toured around from there, riding the old steam train from Victor Harbor even seeing a couple of South Right Whales on the way. There were 73 people in 38 cars including 5 Mercedes, 5 Jaguars, 4 BMWs, a Bentley, Porsch, Alvis and a Corvette. There was a trophy voted on by all participants for "the car I would most love to own and drive". We won it in our 2005 yellow Crossfire roadster. I guess it proves our Crossfires really are considered to be desirable modern classics.
