THE REVISED TIME SCHEDULE FOR BOTH DAYS TO BE POSTED SOON.....

It will be basically outlined hour by hour so it's easier for everyone to follow.





We will have a certified Crossfire Tech / Mechanic on site. CICCI is bringing along some "spare parts" to cover the basic items just in case. Adam's Polishes is sending us some special goodies. Asphalt Ventures will be hosting a "Social Hour" for everyone on Friday night, but BYOB.

Also, Professional Driver and Coach, Chuck Hawk, will be attending for some added input into the course and our cars. Time will be spend walking the track with him, a short discussion sesson and Q and A time. So if you have any questions, he'll be the man to talk to.


There is still time to Register and a a few hotel rooms are still blocked. AND don't forget.... CICCI is giving out a $25 gas card just to help us out.

Here is the outline we have planned for the weekend!
( Still subject to change, But it should be close to the real deal...lol)



Friday / June 1st
10am - 12pm Driver & Vehicle Check-In at NCCAR Main Building
-You will need to remove all loss items from your vehicle, floor mats, items in the door pockets or anything in and around the interior of the vehic
-Helmet check and wrist bands will be given out to all registered drivers & cars. You cannot enter the track area without this items.
-If you want to "blue tape" your car to protect the paint this would be a good time to plan on doing this.


12 Noon Driver Welcome / Orientation / Driver Safety Meeting
-To be held inside the Main Building / Classroom
- Lunch will be "Bring your own - Brown Bag"


1pm - 5pm Vehicle Dynamics Arena
-Driver skill / exercise course to get you familiar with your vehicles handling
- Braking / Steering / Throttle Control / Handling A / Handling B / Putting it all Together / Timed runs / Crossfire Time Attack

5pm Guided Track Walk with professional driver coach Chuck Hawks

5:45 - 7:30pm Dinner Time!
-There are several restaurants in and around the Host Hotel area
-People should feel free to make their own plans, relax and enjoy


7:30pm Social Time!
-Asphalt Ventures will be hosting a cigar social for those interested
- BYOB in the lounge for some Crossfire talk and catching up with owners
-50/50 Raffle, Door Prizes, Adams Care package, and a few Goodies


Saturday June 2nd

7:45am Leave for NCCAR from Hotel
-For those staying at the Hotel, we will pull out 7:45 for the drive to the NCCAR
- PLEASE HAVE A FULL TANK OF GAS BEFORE WE LEAVE. There is no gas avialable at the track


8:00am Parade Lap / Group Photo
-Line up for a few "Parade laps" around the track


8:30am Driver's Meeting
-Main Building / Classsroom
-Driver's and Instructor pairing up


9:00 am - 12 Asphalt Ventures / Driver Training
- Instructed Groups / Instructor Run Time.
This portion of the day will be managed by Asphalt Ventures


12 - 12:30pm Lunch
-Service provided by NCCAR - Southern BBQ Style
12:30 - 1pm Parade Laps and Photo Shoot


1pm - 5pm Asphalt Ventures / Driver Training
-Run Groups / Track Sessions / Solo Time
This portion of the day will be managed by Asphalt Ventures


5pm - 5:30 Closing Meeting

I just booked my room..

 

Tried to book my room and all I can say is, "Houston...........we have a poblem". Asked for the rate and was told my name was not listed under the block of rooms. Tried to explain that you have to register to see the name and then it got interesting. They want to know if I work for a company or do I have AARP or AAA. Now they have to call me back when they get it figured out! It's a wonder that I have children!

 

The first person I spoke to sounded confused when I mentioned CICCI, NCCAR and tried to explain we had a block of rooms at discounted rate. She ended up putting me on hold and getting someone else that knew exactly what I was talking about. I wish I got her name.

I guess we got the same person. I mentioned all the different names too! Really confused the issue I think! Oh well................we'll see what happens! Looking forward to seeing you guys in June!

 

Talk to Percilla or ask for the Manager. If they can't help, then let me know and I'll get on them for you. The regular desk person may not know about the block of rooms.

James, lmk if you get it worked out. I spoke to the General Manager today and she stated you may have spoken to a new employee. She stated CICCI's block of rooms is secured and she indicated that CICCI would have additional rooms if needed.
