Anyone live in the Okanagan?
Re: Anyone live in the Okanagan?
Used to, born in Oliver, raised in Osoyoos until graduating from High School, moved to Spokane and went to a business university for 2 years, graduated and received a draft notice, moved to Calgary and been here since.
My ride is a Pearl Blue '05 Roadster Limited. The only aftermarket item is a windscreen. With the foothills of the Canadian Rockies nearby my driving excitement is endless.

Re: Anyone live in the Okanagan?
I'm planning to retire in the Kelowna area if I can figure out the immigration implications. I'm a US citizen in SW Washington and totally love the area. My wife and I travel to the area 3-4 times a year. Maybe we can get together sometime?

Re: Anyone live in the Okanagan?
Hi Old School,
Thanks for your post, I do not live in the Okanagan and only visit about once every 2 years. I have some family there and should get out there more often.
I live in Calgary, AB, Canada.
If you end up in Kelowna drop me a note and the next time I am coming through I will stop by.
Regards,
Shrudds

Re: Anyone live in the Okanagan?
Hi !!
I'm flying out of Kelowna in a couple of days to pick up and drive back from Northern California my new 2005 SRT-6 Coupe with 1,500 miles. I opted for a coupe over a convertible since I find the sun just too intense here in the Okanagan. (I just don't think an old dude wearing a ball cap and white zinc ointment on his nose is really the image I want to create...lol).
I've been a car nut most of my adult life and currently drive an Infiniti G35 sports coupe. It's a beautiful car, but I miss the days driving of driving a Nissan 300ZX or even my old 1978 Corvette. I just sold a 1988 Pontiac Fiero a few weeks ago after spending 3 years restoring it. I'm hoping the Crossfire will win my over my heart. The complaints of some that the ride in the SRT-6 is too harsh and that the cockpit is too tight....are really the reasons I am buying one!!
The drive home from California will help me decide whether I'm keeping the Infiniti or the Crossfire!!
