Default Warranty transfer/cost?

Has anyone purchased or been successful in transfering a Us Origin car here in Canada?

It's been done I think ,can't remember the forum it was under BUT, any US car (Chrysler product ) brought into Canada the warranty is null and void I looked into this personaly! There is also something about the front bumper that has to be added ,remember reading it and it was costly $600 ish. There are aftermarket warrantys however, don't know how good they are?

US warranty is null and void in Canada, but will be honoured in US of A, you have to get car there though.

Thanks Mike..

Thats good to know....I'll tow it there on a car dolly for 75.00 at Uhaul
You are positively sure about that?

FYI I posted the part numbers and exact cost of front and rear "Bumper absorbers" -(urethane foam bumper inserts) in "Importing a Crossfire to Canada"

I talked with Chrysler US and according to what they told me the warranty is not Valid from a US car that has been registered in Canada. Thick as theves!

Hi, I just brought mine up from Virginia a week and a half ago.
I had checked with a Buffalo dealer who's answer was "We don't care where you live, if it's warrantied in the States, any Chrysler dealer will honour the warranty"
I transferred my warranty to a U.S. Zip code for Buffalo. You don't actually need an address and had my dealer check out my vin at home. The warranty transfer showed up at the Zip in Buffalo.
Haven't had occasion to use it yet, that might be another story.
