That weekend is good for me. A Sat/Sun run would be better though. Maybe leave Edmonton after lunch Sat and head to Jasper. Then be home Sun afternoon.

Pease let me know if this comes together. Jasper is a bit of a drive but truly one of the more spectacular ones.

Now that sounds like fun

What dates are we looking at again - It would be nice if it were say June when the ice and gravel is off the road....

That sounds like a great trip. I bought my SRT-6 a month ago and it sits in storage at Capital Chrysler in Edmonton just waiting for the roads to clear enough so I can drive it home to Terrace. That just might be around the time you guys take your road trip.

Now another question for you Alberta guys. I bought my SRT-6 in Edmonton and would really like to get in contact with the original owner. The dealer says it was owned in Edmonton. I have lots of questions for him about the mods he did (and would like to see if he still has the original wheels). I suspect he may have been on here as he has lots of modifications that you see on here, various badges, Needswings air intake, aftermarket exhaust. The wheels he put on make the cars pretty distinct and if any of you Alberta guys recognize the car in my pic and know the previous owner, I would love to be able to contact him

I am just throwing this out there to see what interest is out there for a run. What if we met May 30/31 weekend and met in Jasper about noonish and took a drive from there? I am not sure how far it is to the glacier park or what other options there are for some exciting drives but its a place to start.

It's about 1 1/2 hours from Jasper to the Athabaska Glacier. Mount Edith Cavel is about 45 mins, lots of curves but broken pavement in places. Mt Terry Fox/ Valemount is an hour or so going west into B.C. Maligin Canyon road , Miette hot spring the list go's on and on. Lots of hotels to stay in,to fit every budget, I like Coast Pyramid lake resort for its isolation but am also happy downtown in the "Atha B" providing I don't get a room over the bar
Keff, Have not seen that unit on my travels, looks good

Any chance we could make it June 13/ 14? This does sound like fun but personally I have to be in Mexico the May weekend -- And that is just too far to drive -- ;-)

I am good with whatever weekend we can get the most people to come out. I did some checking and there are some pretty good rates in May and a little higher for June for places to stay. I guess we just need to have a poll to find out what most interests everybody and what days work best.

Hi All,

I just found the regional forums otherwise I'd have posted sooner.

My wife and I would probably enjoy a reason to head out to Jasper in June. We live in Calgary so seeing anything nice out that way would be great. We've only had the roadster for about a month now and love it (had to drive to Sylvan lake to testdrive/buy, but it was more than worth it).

June 13-14 would work for me as well... I'm working until June 3, but whatever works best for everyone.
