Default Recall Letter?

Just picked up a 2005 Sapphire Silver Roadster from Michigan. I am starting the import process and am wondering where and how quickly I can get the "recall letter" that is required at Customs? I read that you could simply pull this off the Chrysler website so I went there ,put in the VIN and can see there are no outstanding recalls, but I am not sure this would be what the customs agent would accept.

Any help appreciated
Thanks Tommy

I don't think there is any recalls. When I did it i did not have to produce the letter.

Cool Re: Recall Letter?

My understanding is that the 'letter' would be available from the U.S. dealer, be it a Chrysler dealer or otherwise.

If you didn't purchase from a dealer, you may have to sweet talk one of them to produce that for you. I also think that you require some certification, letter regarding emissions but I might be out of date on that one.
