Default I can't do it...

I just cannot do it. Drive my Crossfire on winter roads! Blizzaks are mounted. Summer wheels put away for the winter and the thought of driving my Crossfire through slush and salt just seems wrong considering the car has NEVER been winter driven.
Now my challenge seems to be explaining to my wife why the second car in the garage is just sitting there when it could be out doing errands!
Yesterday I hooked up a trickle charger and bid the car farewell for a couple of months.........

There will be some nice days when the roads are dry and you will take it out for a little cruise. I know if the roads are dry and the car is together enough to drive it, I will be takeing mine out. Even if it is just to go visit a friend or two for a few hours.

Get a 4x4 beater to drive when the weather is tough and save the Crossfire for great weather days.

Your wife will think you're brilliant.

Today was clear and dry in Chi-town.
All the snow is currently frozen and the roads are clean and dry.
I took mine out for a 40 mile run.
Now it's back in my heated garage

I knew you couldn't do that to the Xfire....................it is almost one of the worst sins!

I heard Florida, California but I never heard the place mentioned that beats them all.....Arizona, as in 'down in the valley of the sun', Phoenix. Come on down and we will have a big hook-up (GTG).

BTW, the wifey problem can be solved this way...............purchase a book on high value car 'collectibles', add a few pages showing pictures of Xfires and fiddle with the values a little and she will be amazed and accept the fact that something worth that much has to be preserved during the winter time..........give it a try.

OH Kurts. I know the feeling.
I still don't have a garage to put mine in. Cathy's is safe, sound and warm but mine suffers out in the driveway.

Tonite, it gets covered................in six to ten of the white stuff.

I had no idea Al Gore was anywhere near St Louis.

Actually, Franc, I just used those 2 pics. from my gallery, they were taken last year.
This year, with the new garage, both Crossfires live happily under wood yearlong !

I thought you said you were going to get all that crap out of the garage to make room for your roadster?
