Default Stripes!

Saw this on ebay...not my cup of tea, but I'm sure some of you would be interested in at least seeing it...

The wheels actually look decent except for the rear offset...and it needs to be lowered. I'm not a huge fan of the stripes though. I think they may be a little too wide or too far apart...

Yep, someone posted that one yesterday. It might have been buried in another thread. I wonder if the stripes were after market or factory? I've never seen another like it. It looks like they did a good job though.

The seller said it just came back from getting 'custom paint', so definitely not factory.

In other words, it was recently wrecked and they decided to add stripes when it was re-painted

Just kidding...it could be a genuine custom paint job, less wreckage. But why custom paint it and then sell it?

Not bad, but not my thing either. Although I'm kinda interested in a two tone type paint job. I kind of like the contrasting colors on that kicker car.

I think this would look better on a darker car, like Aero Blue with one white stripe down one side. I was actually talking to my son today about that. A friend has a blue Viper with two wide white stripes and it looks very good.

I would like to have seen the stripes in either a black or white, better contrast to the Areo blue.

This post confirms my suspicion that stripes would detract from the beauty of the SRT.

Ick! The stripes take away from the 'creasing' on the hood. I don't like it at all.

The title was " What do you guys think?"
Guessed we have said our thought.

Just my opinion, the CROSSFIRE is not a car for stripes in any way shape or form.

To each his own, but I kinda like the stripes on the roadster ! I don't think it would contrast well on a coupe, but, well, there it is ! No worst than an unpainted carbon fiber hood, I say !

Just my Dos Centavos !

I guess I'm just different than other folks here. I actually thought it looked
rather good. Although I'd have probably added some pin stripes along
either side of the wider stripes.

As someone else said, I'm not sure how good this would look striped over
the top of a coupe, but it does look rather appealing on the roadster.

I like it. The pin striping on the outer edge really finishes it off.
