Glad you managed to sign in at last, there has been no new blood for months. I live in Caledon East, we were in Orangeville on Tuesday for a nice dinner. My car is still under wraps for the winter.
Crappy tire can change the lights to day time running lights quite cheaply and if you hang on to the switch you can switch it back to the US lighting system after they have done the test for compliance with Canadian rules,if you want.
The other option is to exchange your US switch with a Canadian who wants to have the US system.

Congrats Sparkie, I put mine through RIV inspection on Tuesday. I took the car to Crappy Tire and they did the Drive Clean, Safety Check and RIV inspection and in 40 mins and $125 later I was on my way to register the car. I took the car home and peeled the Florida plate off it and nailed mine on. I faxed the RIV inspection sheet and got an e-mail reply in a matter of mins. that I would receive my sticker in 5 days. Export/Import was very smooth and straight forward.

Welcome Sparkie. Actually I think it is the American's pretending to be Canadians pretending to be Americans....yes, insanity is catching.
Beaner and Bluecoupe will drag you to the dragon and make you run it in the dark your first time, so be careful.
