Finally! WOO!
Well guys, im now the new proud owner of a SRT6
And let me just say, after wishing and dreaming for the past 5 years for one, its all finaly come true. And oh man, this is a fun little toy. Not just with the awesome performance, but with the looks you get from people. It feels like your diving around all day in a concept car, not many people up our way have seen a crossfire, letalone a srt6 or even knew that these things existed. This all adds to the permagin!
Ive actualy had the car for alost 3 weeks, but have been soo busy with work and such that ive havent had the time to sit down and start a new thread
A little info about the car, its got around 6000miles on it, and is in perfect show room condition. Still has the new car smell, the previous owner took excellent care of it.
Here are some pics on the day i picked it up, and after it finaly came home
Its not exactly the colour that i wanted, but the saphire silver blue metallic, really has started to grow on me, i really wanted a black one, but couldnt pass up such a low milage car with a "well" taken care of history
Plus it kinda feels like one of those "concept car" type of colours that you could possibly see on a fresh concept design.
Anyways, its great to finaly join the gang, and own of of the most unique limited production cars on the road.
I cant wait to get home on fridays, and clean it up and give it a good wash. Especialy that pesky front brake dust.lol Plus, with work just about 3 miles down the road from home, im lucky if ill put over 1000miles a year if i do the occasional trip up north.
Plus these few weeks that have passed, has given me some time to research and make a list of the mods to do.
Ill be storing the car durin the winter, so that will give me a good excuse to start diggin into her and doing some fun upgrades.
One thing though, not too much of a biggie, ive noticed that theres a good chance that my IC pump is on its way south. First day i drove it to work, it had good power, but when turning down my road (almost up to opt temp), i gave it, and had that dreaded temp surge that ive read about on here. And when the car warms up, you can notice a decent decrease in performance. So new jonhson pump on its way, and probably gonna order 2 intake temp sensors just to keep one hand.
But other then that, this is one of those hidden gems. Its such a awesome ride! A few of my friends couldnt believe i acualy had one. (they knew what it was after hearing be whine about it for the past few years). Plus one of my buddies finds it awesome that it cost a bit less then my other buds new civic.. That was a good laugh

Hey guys, thanks a bunch for the warm welcome
I hope to enjoy this car for a lifetime, and so far its just been awesome.
For the first 4~5 days, i had to pinch myself a fiew times when sitting in it. I just couldnt believe i had just bought one of my dream cars. Freakin Awesome! plus im a sucker for a good deal, even though i payed a bit on the higher end, i was determined to get the lowest mileage one i could find
it still hasnt fully sunk in yet. lol
I am definetly going to have to get another one in a year and a half from now LOL!
. But will have to be a convertable, the black ragtop on either the aero blue pearlcoat, or black looks awesome!
Reason i went with the coupe this time is because i thought i would of had a better chance to fit my golf clubs in the back, but things could be a bit snug.

Congrats on a beautiful ride. Sounds like mod #1 for you needs to be some Akebono or Rotex Gold brake pads so that when you do get the chance to drive her, you can focus on driving and not on cleaning the brake dust off the wheels.
How can you not love these cars/toys/_____(fill in the blank) These cars may not be well known but they demand attention with their performance and looks.

Love the car, love the color (looks same as my N/A O4 coupe).
I drive mine to work everyday (for now) too -- but my commute is 32 miles each way -- so I get to enjoy it alittle bit more than you each day!
Hope to pick up another one in a year or so as well ---- a roadster. Although I love black (I've had 2 cars in black before) I may have to go with the Alabaster if I can find one.
Good luck with the ride and enjoy it.

Congrats and welcome. Where did you find your car?
Keep an eye out for one just like yours as I live about 50kms west of you. Are you interested in getting together with a bunch of us in the near future?

I do recall about 2 years ago when i saw my first and only srt-6, it was mid summer i believe; up in Huntsville; we were just headin into town from the cottage, and i saw one pulled over next to the onramp by an OPP.
