Hey SOCO, it's a new year...what are we doing next?
Our friend Dave (onehundred80) has the distinction of posting the first thread of 2011 on the Canadian link...which has me thinking, things are quiet on the SOCO front. That said, anyone got any suggestions for our first meet in the spring? If you recall, we did the Canadian Transportation Museum in Kingsville last spring, unfortunately the weather was wet which resulted in a smaller turnout then anticipated. Unless someone else comes up with a better GTG suggestion, I'm suggesting a visit to the RM Auctions Exhibit on a Saturday or Sunday sometime in April, whatever. Here is the link; RM AUCTIONS
This is just an excuse to GTG and drive our Crossfires...maybe we could end the day at someones home or restaurant/pub?
I'm also considering hosting a BBQ sometime this summer....
Post your thoughts....

I just wish it would stop snowing. Would like to get the garage puppy's out for a run.
I am in Tony, any of the stuff in Ontario. Just say the place & time and I will try my best to be there!
Lets get all the southern areas covered this year, Windsor area, London (maybe the same show we went to last year), Barrie area, Norm's place in Whitby, Niagara Falls. Just generic locations for ideas.
Maybe we will get a few more members from over the boarder to join us this year!

Would love to meet up once the weather breaks, Niagra Falls is probably the closest place for me to sneak across the border... might be a good place to set up a GTG

I'm going to suggest Phoenix, Arizona in April. Got a house that will sleep 3 couples and another that another couple could shack up in.
We could also hook-up with a few Xfires down here for a real nice Sedona/Jerome road trip.
Bring your bathing suits and lots of sun tan lotion. Any time in April.

You mean Research in Motion in Kitchener? I hear that they grow 'black berries' there!

I guess I better go see how the rest of the family is doing.

Actually, the Barrett-Jackson Auction would probably be better.....it is on right now;
however, I have been too busy for that.
I'd certainly be up for a trip to RM Auctions in April (probably late). I've not been there before. I enjoyed meeting the SOCO group at Norm's this past Christmas. A day trip to the London area sounds about right. Especially if we could make it more scenic than the 401 for part of the drive anyway.
All that said, if the weather was crappy, then the Avalanche would be the ride. Not that I'm afraid to drive the Crossfire in the rain. Rather, it's the clean up and detailing after the fact that takes as much time as the trip itself if it gets sloppy out!
Whatever is going on, if I'm able to I'll be there.

I'm down for whatever this year!
I'm soon to be a dad and fear my Crossfire days are numbered, so this year I'm going to attend as many events as possible
