FWIW, I'm leaving Thursday morning (29th), driving down I75 until fatigue sets in, find a hotel for the night and continue the rest of the trip the next day Friday, hopefully arriving at the Lodge early Friday afternoon. Heading home Sunday, arriving back in Toronto Monday...
Engine has been detailed. Interior detailed and leather conditioned. Tire pressure checked. Fluids checked. Slasher stripes added for extra speed....

A colleague of mine just returned from Florida, using I75. He has recommended not going through Cincinnati, but using the bypass ringroad. Apparently construction and poor condition of road (potholes) is the reason.

Not looking good for me........can't get the time off . Were working 6 days a week, 12 hour days and still can't keep up.

 

It's all good..."you work hard you play hard" is what I tell my boys. Right now you are working hard which is good....you can play later....we'll have an extra shot on your behalf! Fireballs anyone?

 

I say you should go right straight thru Cincinnati using I-75. Rush hour could slow you down. Do you know about the group staying in Florence KY on Thursday night? Florence is 20 minutes south of Cincinnati. And then Friday morning, the locals meet at the hotel and we all convoy down to Fontana.

We're leaving Toronto Thursday morning @ 8:00a.m. with the intention of making it to Lexington Kentucky (or beyond) by nightfall. Crossfire has been detailed. Tires and fluids checked and oil / filter changed. Trip to the liquor store complete, fresh CD's with new music burned, GPS programmed, vacation request approved by boss...looking forward to seeing you all there....

well SOCO members,
it has been a great tour so far.we had our evening "social" last night....got to meet the people face to face.....that we know only on line by a nick name.
the tours of the twisties go out this morning and the weather is supposed to be nice and sunny.
hope the kingston tour goes well today.......keep it between the ditches!
