Sounds like a great trip. 120 mph in BC would likely earn you "walking papers"! I may take the Crossfire to Kelowna in mid Aug. Would love to run Creston -Kaslo -Nakusp with it. Maybe worth organizing a Spring or Fall run aka Tail of the Dragon. If you've never been on the Nakusp to Kaslo, you are certainly missing out. It is a paved logging road thru high country.

Its a long drive to the Dragon from Alberta , I did it solo after the 1st CAA in St Louis, but I had carried on to N.C. for a visit with the inlaws and picked up new tires in Charlotte. Yes its a must do, but why not start off with CAA3 in Reno , its only ,a 3000 MILE round trip

The Ukrainian Triangle was a good run. Left Ardrossan with 19 cars, left Vegreville with 26.
Oldest car was a 38 Ford Coupe, newest was a 2011 Challanger. Only blemish was a 66 Fairlane ragtop blowing a front tire just out of Vilna. Tread peeled back and beat the crap out of the fender. 11 hour day, 460 Km's,
