2013 FLEETWOOD COUNTRY CRUISE-IN - Sat. June 8
Re: 2013 FLEETWOOD COUNTRY CRUISE-IN - Sat. June 8
Hey Steve, weather outlook is looking good for the weekend. Did you get your intercooler replaced? I'll be joining you for sure if weather remains dry, but my 17yr old won't be joining us. Something about getting out of bed at a time when he is usually returning home from a party....! Can you confirm the time and place for meeting?!!

Right now the prediction is for some rain Friday and Saturday

A little spray is not going to make you shrink.

Weather Forecast: London, Ontario - The Weather Network
Driving through mud, wet gravel and parking on wet grass isn't my idea of a good time....but hey, if dry, I'm there.

Still 10% rain, cloudy and low 70's.
OK, if Sparkie does not go how do we get in? Is there a secret password or handshake?
We meet as per last years schedule? It had better be laid out again, it is in my post above but not official.
I hope the weather is as good as the weather channel says, everyone else says it's dismal.

I thinks its safe to say that we are all 'tentative' based on the weather. As stated earlier, I may even head down there on Friday night and I would then meet up with everyone at the second meeting place (Esso Station on Oxford Street) as per the info below but I'll know more as the week and weather unfolds. It will be great to see everyone.
Let me remind everyone that if you miss meeting up with the group, you will most likely never get remotely close to parking your car in the show with the other Crossfires. This is why we have the two meeting places the second one being very close to the show entrance. The charitable admission fee is $10 per person at the gate as you drive in. We have had instances where gate personel were not informed that our Crossfires are on the approved vehicle admission list for the show as approved by Steve Plunkett. If you have any issues be adament of prior approval and drop his name frequently.
Here are the meeting place times and details. I will update my intentions a little later in the week.
**MEETING PLACE DETAILS**
Meeting Place #1 (for those coming from the North, East and South):
6:00am at the Ingersoll Tim Hortons at Hwy 401/ Culloden Road Exit #216.
http://maps.google.ca/maps?f=q&sourc...,0.038409&z=15
At approx 6:20am we will leave Ingersoll to proceed to meeting place #2.
Meeting Place #2 (For anyone from the West or lodging in London)
7:00am at the Esso Station @ 1919 Oxford St. West , London
http://maps.google.ca/maps?f=q&sourc...o+N6K+4M8&z=16
This is our final meeting place and is close to the Event location.
At approx. 7:20am we will proceed to the Event entrance.
**IMPORTANT NOTE **
(PLEASE NOTE THAT IF WE DO NOT HAVE ANY CONFIRMATION OF ANYONE COMING FROM THE WEST TO MEET US HERE WE WILL SKIP THIS MEETING LOCATION AND PROCEED DIRECTLY INTO THE SHOW SITE FROM MEETING PLACE #1)
Please note that there will be over 3,000 cars being shown....so anyone that arrives late and misses our Final Meeting Place will have to enter the show on their own and will not be able to Show their car with the rest of our group.
Just in case anyone is late, here is the address and map to the event location : (Steve Plunkett Estate)

Keep in mind that if you do not have the Crossfire you will not be able to park inside the show but there is ample parking offsite that is either a walk or shuttle distance away. Just in case you do not bring the Crossfire. FYI -Other pre 1985 cars are also admitted to the show.

I will be bringing two FRS radios so both the lead and last Crossfires can keep everyone together....
Getting up at 3:15, leaving Toronto at 4 am.................yoo hoo!!
Hey Steve....can you PM us your cell number?.....it might come in handy.

I won't make it at all, I still did not get my parts from California to repair my Trany issue, not that that was going to stop me, Lynda however just had shoulder surgery and I have desided to stick close to home this weekend!
Have fun guy;s we will ketch up soon!
