No more Fleetwood Country Cruize In's?
Their is a rumour going around that Steve Plunkett will no longer be hosting an annual Cruize-In as done in recent years and that 2013 was the last. I met Steve personally many years ago and was a guest at his home for an afternoon along with my son and six others from the Canadian Volvo Club. I have sent Steve an email to clarify if this is true or not....hope I'm wrong!
I'll post his reply when and if received.

Tony, I hope what you have heard is not true. Who spreads these rumours?......

I do know that Steve is now involved with this event:
Concours d'Elegance | Concours d'Elegance - Cobble Beach

Apparently Steve made the announcement and it's on-line, however after many searches I could not find it. If it wasn't for the source, I would have ignored it. Like I posted, an email has been sent...might as well go right to the source to find the truth!
Event Name: Fleetwood Country Cruize-In, Event Date: Sat, Jun 07, 2014 - Mon, Jun 09, 2014, Description: Canada's largest outdoor car show is held in Ontario ...
This is likely what has started the rumour...

If anyone out there subscribes to Old Autos Magazine...the complete story will be found in a recent edition.
I look forward to a response from Steve...

I'd be sorry to hear that! I finally got to one this year and had decided I'd try to get to more in the future. Everything about these shows is top notch, especially meeting up with the other Crossfire people.
