The St Lawrence Automobile Club will be hosting a Regional Autoslalom event this May 27-28 at the Picton Airfield. It is also a popular site for Autocross aka Auto Slalom or Solo Racing. It is the equivalent of slalom skiing. Spectating is free. However, if one wishes to enter the fee is $55 per day or $100 for the two days. Since this is a Regional event it is possible that 100 cars will participate. The best part of Picton is that the runways are more than 1 mile long so your arms can get tired!

Important safety notice if you are participating in the race: YES, a helmet is required. You don't need fire suits, racing shoes, 5-pt harness or any of that craziness.
As far as the helmets goes, here's what's acceptable and what isn't :FIA 8860-2004 Snell 2010 SA, 2010SAH, or 2010 M Snell 2005 SA, or 2005 M Snell 2000 SA, or 2000 M (both expire Dec 31, 2014) SFI Foundation 31.1A, 31.2A or 31.1/2005 British Standards Institution BS 6658-85 type A/FR (expires Dec 31, 2013) In other words, it can't be a motorcycle helmet.
Helmets may be either open faced or closed face. They must be in good condition both inside and outside and never subjected to a crash or other severe impact.
