If you are coming out 80 West from the LI you go right past us. To get there we head west to Hackettstown and then take a couple of local roads down toward Easton and on to the 78. The local roads are sometimes a little slow, but a nice drive.

 

You can put myself and the wife down for Friday dinner. We have to leave Saturday around noon so we'll miss that one. Anyone from north/central NJ driving down on friday morning?

Tbird, I saw you and acrispy1 were possibly driving out together but I didn't see a time. I took off Friday so we were going to drive out friday am just to get there and relax (I'll probably have lots of polishing and cleaning to do). Let me know when you or others were going to meet up. As I said, I'm free and flexable timewise.

I think gas prices has something to do with the low turn out.

 

Several of the shows we go to every summer are all saying the same thing, but for those that can make it, we'll have a good time.

Greg, where thinking the same way: (I'll probably have lots of polishing and cleaning to do). We'll figure out a time and place as we get closer to the meet.

 

Yeah, I LOVE my SRT almost as much as my wife (Eileen) but that being said, I don't care for it like Andrew aka Mr. Clean, did his. I figure I'll be looking over everyones shoulder and then racing back to make sure I clean all the right spots. This is gonna be the best!

 

Come on guys this is just around the corner, you will be missing alot of fun. Any other LI Crossfire want to take the ride with me and xfire2005.

Absolutely, FP. I believe +fireamx, RickZ and I will be heading down to Carlisle around the same time. If you're headed across Ohio via I-80, then I-76, we can meet up around Akron / Youngstown / PA border.

 

The spring show this year was dismal at best. Excellant weather too. First year you could get there late and still park up close. We even left one time and came back 2 hrs. later to the same parking spot.Usually if you get seperated you can't see past a few people,this year the isles were clear. I would like to see the gate numbers from this year and years past.

Hotel Accommodations:
The following link (Country Inn) will bring you to where many of us are staying. As of yesterday (Monday, 4/14/2008) , there were only thirty four (34) rooms left open for July 12, 2008. I suggest you make your reservations as soon as possible as many other motels in the area are already booked for the show weekend.
The Country Inn is close to the Fairgrounds, clean and fairly new. This would be a great hotel for all Crossfires to unite the Friday evening or Saturday morning of the show!

There is a great .25 car wash near by for pre-show touch ups.
