The irony of it all is that I'm officially picking my Xfire up tonight. THE DAY AFTER THE CARLISLE SHOW!!!
Sorry bout the caps but I'm just so aggrevated because now I have to wait 364 more days for my chance to meet you all and show off my flashy ride. ARGGGGGG.
Well anyway is it too early to sign up for next year now?
Ron.
P.S. hope everybody made it home safe!!!

There is still the Woodward Dream Cruise and the Tail of the Dragon. You should try to be at those they are alot of fun.
Well as usual we had a great time at another Crossfire GTG.
We left right after breakfast and decided to take the senic look thru the Pennsylvania countryside and got on the interstate by the Maryland state line. We ended up in a town called Shewsbury and stopped by a wendy's for a potty break and something to drink and when we came outside there was another crossfire parked next to mine so I looked to see who's it was and saw Maggie1 and Jack.
It sure is a small world. We got home safe and sound and without incident. I want to thank all the people involved to make this GTG so great and CICCI for all their involvement as well.
My wife and I definitely will be there next year and look forward to having a great time with our crossfire family.
Thanks for a great weekend!!! Pat and Mickie

It was great ..... Dan Sawyer (canman80) took me in as a "roomy" and that worked fine. I traveled down with Gary (VALK) and we met others in Streeterville, Ohio. All left together the next AM, for Carlisle. it was a great time caravaning down, and we all kept in touch with each other through hand radios.
Dan and I got to the field about 8:30 AM on Saturday, and as I was getting my car settled, Elaine and LORNE came over and asked if I wanted a Roadster car cover???? It seems that a fellow who sold his xfire, and had a cover left over, just wanted to get rid of it. Lorne and I walked over, and sure enough he just handed me the bagged cover. It's not a fitted Chrysler one, but I accepted and thanked him. About 4 hrs later Gary, Dan, Peter, and I opened it up and it fit fine. Better then mine in quality and fit. If it wouldn't have fit (I have the SRT roadster), I'd have asked one of the other roadster guys if they wanted it.
I met many new friends and renewed old ones... If yu didn't make this event, try not to miss the next Carlisle. My intention is to return, but I kind of limit my long GTGs to 2 per year, and I definitely want to do the CAA in Colorado, and the Tale of the Dragon, next year. Maybe ... Maybe .... Carlisle!!! What a GREAT CLUB...... Thanks you guys !!!!!!

Oh you can be sure, I felt terrible about missing it. (St. Louie too).
Actually, I just wanted to give somebody else a chance at 3rd. place, that's all.
I am lookin forward to seeing everybody at the Dragon, and Woodward Ave. though.
Sorry to say I looked at dates for Tail of the Dragon and I will not be able to make the Fall date, due to a previous engagement.
The charitable group that we work with has one of our largest events the first Saturday of October every year. I will look through some of the other events to see if I can make any others, I will definitely keep iin mind the Spring Tail of the Dragon event.
