I agree Dennis, with CICCI gaining prominence in car club status, whether a club member or not, this is something we should all do as XF owners to get Chrysler's attn....this can help all xf owners across the board...

 

Thanks Dennis and I echo your and Doc's statements. We Crossfire owners have a golden opportunity to get the "new" Chrysler's attention and 100 Crossfire at the All Chrysler Nationals will do just that. Keep encouraging all Crossfire owners to attend. We will make our presence known.

CICCI ought to be able to work out a reduced entry fee from Carlisle. MCA (Merkur Club of America) had such an arrangment with Carlisle. We just referenced a special code on the entry form and received the reduced rate.

And if accomodations haven't been firmed up yet, I'd recommend the Radisson Inn at Camp Hill, PA. It's a bit of a drive (~10 miles) from the showfield, but the accomodations are superb & and I prefer getting away from all of the activity in the city during a Carlisle weekend event. The hotel has a set of rooms on the backside lower level that enable a car club to gather for nearby parking lot socializing and car display, primping, etc. Full service restaurant and a BAR! (You know where Roberta & I spend our time!)

Thanks for the info Dennis. I'll keep your suggestion in mind. CICCI has a good relationship with our "host" hotel in the Carlisle area and they offered us a great discount last year. They're about 10 miles outside Carlisle as well but that "bar" thing sounds real good. Our host hotel is working on giving us a "better" discount than last year based on our continued patronage. An announcement is forth coming.
