I could always leave after work and get there late friday night! It is 6 hours away with the old engine... so with the new one it might be less.

no. i needed one that would take pets, and i didnt notice that Hampton Inn allowed pets until after i booked mine. I'll just have to catch up with everyone at the show.

I said I would attend this year back in July last year when I had a job that sucked and I took off anytime I wanted cause I didn't plan to keep that job anyway.....
Well that job finally ended in July last year right after I got home from Carlisle 2010...yes it was a GOOD day.

Now I have a GREAT job but my time off is less flexable.
I have 3 weeks to use this year but also have plans to take a 7 day Cruise in March and travel to Germany in the fall .

Also I WILL attend the Fall "Tail of the Dragon" , Woodward Dream Cruise, and if I can pull it off "CAA Colorado !!
For now the only way I will attend Carlise is if I fly out and arrive Friday evening.
I won't be making the 11 hour drive but if I find a good price on a flight to Harrisburg I'll do what InfernoRedXfire did last year and fly there.

 

I guess flying in isn't that bad! I bet the ticket for the car will be a little pricey though! Having you there in any capacity will be good for the group though. You do a good job as the MC and hosting the Awards dinner. You Are NEEDED!!! I don't understand these employers who fail to realize that 4 weeks is the new minimum for leave!!

I'll see if I can still make it but it is mostly dependant on the cost of airfare.
